Accelonix supports the TU Delft Hydro Motion Team with Battery Wire Bonding

Accelonix is proud to be a bronze partner of the Hydro Motion Team of the Technical University of Delft.

The Hydro Motion Teams will compete in the Open Sea Class of the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge and prove the power of hydrogen!

Accelonix Benelux supports the Hydro Motion Team TU Delft with the wire bonding of their battery packs.

These battery-packs consisting of Li-Ion cells will act as an energy storage buffer for their flying hydrogen-powered boat.

Ultrasonic wire bonding is a technology that links battery cells in parallel to conductors using for instance aluminum wire that act as a fuse in the event of an overcurrent condition in a battery.
