Since many years our partner Goepel Electronics is a pioneer in innovating the AOI technology for SMT and THT assembly of elecronic products.

In our current era with short time to market, difficulties in component provisioning and shortage of experienced workforce it is key to rely on manufacturing and inspection solutions that are flexible, easy to use and provide first time right results.
Goepel has introduced innovative technologies such as a new 3D Camera Module, artificial intelligence and deep learning into their current line-up of inspection solutions. These technologies completely automate the test programming and definition of inspection parameters as well as greatly improve the classification process after inspection, even by inexperienced operators.
New AOI inspection programs are now ready and debugged in 30 minutes or less.
The 3D AOI process is much more stable and operator errors in the classification process are strongly reduced.

SPI – Line 3D : Inspection of Solder and Sinter Paste Deposition

Solder Paste Inspection and Sinter Paste Inspection with SPI Line 3D.

Solder paste with a height of 80 μm to 150 μm can be measured just as well as sinter paste with a height of only 20 μm.
The system is available in various resolution configurations.
The solder paste depots are inspected according to the criteria of shape, height, area, bridges, volume, x/y offset and coplanarity.

THT – Line 3D:  Inspection of THT Assemblies and Solder Joints

Simultaneous Inspection of THT components on the top and solder joints and pins on the bottom.

Different configurations are available to combine the THT-Line Inspection system with a wave soldering or selective soldering production line.
The inspection system allows component clearance of up to 140 mm.
Top 3D or 2D inspection with up to 8 camera’s with angled view inspect even concealed components and lateral markings.
The 3D inspection module at the bottom reliably detects and measures solder volume, solder flow and pin height!
