Close proximity immunity testing against magnetic fields

According to IEC/EN 61000-4-39 and IEC/EN 60601-1-2

Recently the standards for susceptibility testing against the near magnetic fields, produced by RF transmitters, have gone through some changes. Especially in the test-levels and test-methods.

  • The IEC/EN 61000-4-39 is intended for general appliances and requires testing over a broad frequency range.
  • The IEC/EN 61000-1-2 is intended for appliances used in a medical environment which are exposed to RFID transmitters.
LAS 6120: 25 Hz – 150 kHz

For these tests Teseq has developed sets which combine the required: magnetic coils, cabling and calibration sets. Above that Teseq has released a dedicated version of the unsurpassed NSG 4070 which is tuned specially to these magnetic field tests.

LAS 6100: 150 kHz – 30 MHz

Technical details can be found at the product page on website.
More info about the setup for these magnetic field tests can be found in the application note.
