New Surge Protection Network for Electronic Power Sources

During IEC61000-4-5 surge testing over a power line CDN, up to 10% of the surge voltage can be coupled into the power supply.
The new SPN 3-690-200 is a surge protection network used together with a surge coupling network (i.e. coupling NX series or CDN 3000A series) and an electronic power source.
It is an additional filter to further reduce the residual voltage during surge testing.

The main purpose of this filter is to prevent the electronic power source (i.e. NetWave) to be damaged by potentially high residual voltages during surge testing.
It is recommended to always use the SPN 3-690-200 when an electronic power source is used as the supply for surge testing.

The SPN 3-690-200 can be used for AC and DC on single, two or three line supplies. Please see the datasheet for all specifications.
