PCB Inspection

AOI systems are standard in almost every electronics production. The production quality of an assembly can be determined in between different assembly steps: solder paste printing, component placement and soldering. User-friendly software makes the systems easy to operate and program. All boards are tested with consistent reliability.

By logging measured values and test results, a continuous statistical analysis is possible and forms the basis for assembly and soldering process optimisation. With AOI, electronics manufacturers can continuously reduce the number of defectively produced assemblies.

3D AOI has become the standard for PCB inspection. The 3D technology provides valuable height information in addition to X and Y values which results in reliable determination of the quality of solder joints, components, etc.

A combination of 2D, 3D and e.g. angled view additionally increases the reliability and coverage of the PCB inspction systems.
